Jon Duncan is ready for the middle and the Relay in WOC-2008. No surprise when asking for goals and tactics: Go hard or go home! Jon is always ready to go hard, already from the start.
He tells he's fit and fast, and feeling ready for the challenge that will meet him in Olomouc. Last week he won a mountain-race in England, and after a "slow start" this season, it now seems like he is in perfect shape for the WOC.
He says its important for him to keep good dicipline to get the best out of himself in the races on Thursday and Sunday. Earlier this season, and in the finnish test-races in Czech republic, Jon have struggled a bit with technical problems. But we know, when the going gets tough, Jon gets tougher.
Jons best result from WOC middledistance is 18. place in Denmark 2006. In the relay he was on the british team that won bronsemedals in Switzerland 2003.
We hope he succeeds in the Czech republic and wishes him good luck in the WOC!
