KOK Runners at European Orienteering Championships

This week, the fight for the first international titles this year begins. Not less than 6 KOK runners are representing their countries at EOC in Latvia:Daniel Hubmann, Baptiste Rollier (Switzerland)Jon Duncan (Great Britan)Christian Bobach, Rasmus Djurhuus (Danmark)Damien Renard (France)

Big favorite for a place on the podium is Daniel Hubmann. Not only has he shown great shape at Tiomila. He also dominated the selection races in Switzerland and set a new personal best time on the 5000m some weeks ago.

Also in a great shape is our another Swiss runner, Baptiste Rollier. While living here in Kristiansand he has taken another step forward. He will be able to fight for Top 10 places in all formats – and he is “hot” for the long distance!

Always ready when it counts is our French runner Damien Renard. The sprint and middle distance specialist has trained well since moving to Norway. Watch out the French team at the relay – Damien now knows how to win a relay ;-)


The Danish dynamite will be represented by Christian Bobach and Rasmus Djurhuus. Christian made the team in his first year as a senior!

After a tough winter with injuries, Jon Duncan is back! As always, he will go hard, or go home!
